Healthcare Interactive Announces Reseller Agreement with Benefit Plan Administrators to Provide ACA

New services offer relief to employers challenged by ACA reporting compliance.

Glenwood, MD (January 5, 2016) — Healthcare Interactive (HCIactive), a leading healthcare technology company, announced today that it has signed a reselling partnership agreement with Benefit Plan Administrators (BPA), a full-service healthcare benefits administrator based in Eau Claire, WI.

Under the partnership, BPA is now offering an ACA reporting dashboard with online enrollment technology to help employers better comply with ACA reporting requirements.

According to ACA requirements, providers of minimum essential coverage, as well as Applicable Large Employers (ALEs) having 50 or more Full-Time Employees or Equivalents (FTEs), must file reporting forms by March 31st on paper or June 30th electronically, or face significant penalties. “We recognize that compliance can be overwhelming, and that’s why we’re addressing it with technology that simplifies this process. Our ACA reporting dashboard aggregates payroll, benefits and HR data specifically for tracking and reporting purposes, and even auto-populates the necessary IRS forms for employers,” says HCIactive CEO Henry Cha.

The need for these solutions are apparent, as the government has extended the filing deadlines twice to accommodate employer requests for more clarification and more time. “Hearing our client’s challenges with ACA compliance first-hand, it’s gratifying to be able to offer a solution that actually works. We’re excited about our partnership with HCIactive and the value it will offer the employer groups we serve,” says BPA President Marc Paulson.

With the added time granted by the latest ACA reporting extensions, HCIactive will continue to focus on onboarding new reseller partners, thereby helping employers nationwide avoid penalties due to noncompliance.
