Healthcare Interactive Announces 2015 Year in Review Summary

Significant contract wins, enhanced services, and an acquisition are among achievements cited for the successful year.

Glenwood, MD (January 29, 2016) — Healthcare Interactive (HCIactive), a leading healthcare technology and services company, today released its year-end review of 2015. The company is pleased to announce that once again it has experienced substantial growth that doubles its revenue run rate (effective January 2016), which can be attributed in part to a 25% increase in lives served through its health plan services. HCIactive has also benefited by adding new channel partners, expanding its service capabilities, and acquiring a corporate wellness company.

“It continues to be proven that our mission and execution is on the right path,” said HCIactive CEO Henry Cha. “Our employer clients and our channel partners are benefiting from our vision and delivery as we continue to drive a new market in Advanced Health Planning. Our future is bright and we are accelerating.”

HCIactive’s noteworthy achievements for 2015 include:

Executed network contracts with Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), MedStar Health, and Mission Health to offer Habeo – new-era health plans supported by patient-centered medical homes (PCMH). Habeo plans combine the processing power of HCIactive with the delivery capability of health systems, provider networks and third party administrators (TPAs) to provide employers and their employees with concierge-style health services.

Continued growth in the corporate wellness sector through direct and channel sales. Significant contract wins include: Mitas Tires, NACCO Materials Handling Group, Benefit Plan Administrators, and Precise Benefits.  New contracts with employers include: Belt Enterprises, Alvarado Real Estate Group, Regency Lighting, San Jose School District, Martin Distributing Company, Providence Group, Integrity Mutual Insurance Company, United Refrigerator, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, and LaPorte Custom Metal Processing.

Acquired PopSpring Wellness, a Wisconsin-based corporate wellness company, providing services to 26 employer groups, representing nearly 16,000 members.  Through this acquisition, HCIactive also enhanced its relationship with Aspirus, a community-directed health system.

Expanded service offerings to channel partners, including ACA Reporting and the following technology enhancements:

  1. Gamification features added to the member portal to increase engagement and education through peer competition

  2. Client portal and dashboard providing real-time access to program performance reports

  3. Mobile app providing members with on-the-go access to their health information

  4. Ability to sync with more than 150 types of mobile devices through the member portal.

In summary, HCIactive made excellent progress throughout 2015 and is well-positioned to continue this successful track record. The company plans more announcements for its 2016 objectives next week following its annual company meeting. These announcements are expected to include additions to the leadership team and initiatives aimed at increasing momentum.
