• Chief Executive Officer | Henry Cha

    Henry Cha is CEO of HCIactive and the architect of Healthspace™, based on a Web Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) running in Microsoft Azure. He has 20 years of healthcare experience in software development, data management, reporting and analytics in payer, pharmacy, population health management and provider data. Henry has deployed predictive modeling in Healthspace to identify risk for the purposes of improving the delivery of healthcare and improving engagement with members using Web 2.0 technologies.

    Previously, Henry was the CIO and COO for eight years of Healthcare Strategies, a full-spectrum care management company focused on utilization review, case management, disease management and maternity management. He was the main architect behind HealthReach, a pioneering disease and care management program based on predictive modeling and care gaps. Henry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Rochester.

  • Alexandra Stuehler, Ph.D. | Chief Customer Advocate & COO
    Alexandra Stuehler, Ph.D. Portrait

    Alexandra, or Zan, took on the responsibilities of Chief Customer Advocate and COO at HCIactive in 2017, formerly holding the position of Chief Scientist. Her focus is on steering all divisions to have a customer-centric approach toward their work, whether it be through direct interactions with members, or behind the scenes coding elements of the next software release. Besides working with all internal teams to optimize quality and efficiency, her additional areas of direct responsibility include data analytics, reporting, and product evolution and enhancement. Alexandra brings with her a passion to deliver comprehensive analysis in data-intense spaces, plus clear, targeted messaging that drives action.

    Prior to joining HCIactive in 2008, she was a director at a pharmaceutical research consulting firm, Olitzky Whittle, servicing clients such as Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline and leading domestic and global studies of consumer and physician behavior. She has also worked in the R&D group in fiber-based telecom, Corvis Corp., and in the Optics Branch at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center as an optics engineer. Alexandra received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Astrophysics at The Johns Hopkins University, and her B.S. in Optics Engineering along with a Business Certificate in Finance from The University of Rochester.

  • James Birger | Chief Information Officer

    Jamie is the technology developer and architect of Healthspace and currently serves as Chief Information Officer. In this role, he manages the full software development lifecycle of HCIactive’s product line, ensuring innovative use of technology and powerful results from the development team. He brings twenty years of development architect experience to the company, previously worked for 11 years as lead architect at a Microsoft/Accenture acquired startup. He has a long history in building case management and customer relationship management products for such clients as the U.S. Air Force and the state of Maryland. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland.

  • Mark Gretz | Interim Chief Financial Officer

    Mark serves as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and oversees all financial and risk management operations of HCIactive. Mark has over 20 years of operating and financial expertise. Previously, he was the Vice President of Finance for NNT/Verio, Inc and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Eastern Region of Verio. Mark received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Towson University and is a CPA in the State of Maryland.
